Yeah, I know. That's why I never bought a TV/VCR combo. The thing is, I've seen some VCR/DVD combos that are pretty cheap (like $199) -- so I wouldn't be crushed if one portion went. I'm switching to a smaller entertainment center, so I'm not really gonna have room for too much equipment. Oh, I dunno...guess I'll keep looking around.
I can't wait to get the Lord Of the Rings extended version. Think it comes out Nov 12th.
I heard the extended version got an R rating, probably for more violence (which is fine by me). It's been on PPV, but I keep changing the channel so I don't "overwatch" it before the DVD release.

Yeah it is an extra 30-40 minutes. Yes it is an R version. There is no ending because 2 towers takes off right where it left off.
I just bought Fight Club, The Count of Monte Cristo, A.I., Le Pacte Des Loups(sadly I didn't see Luna in that one)
Clerks, Mallrats, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back all on VHS. All I need to find now is Chasing Amy and I'll have all of em. :thumbs-up:
