OK....I hope I'm not reaching here. But I'd like to find out what you people are into. I know it's gonna be hard not to defile this, but I mean......imagine if you post in here, and find someone else on the board is also into painting ceramic thimbles??? Well...that was just an obviously obscure thing, but it's possible.
Just post in here things you are into whenever it pops into your head. Post as often as you'd like. Maybe you'll find that person you always hated on the board is alot more like you than you think.

Music. Listening AND playing.
I played many different instruments, but never really did anything with it after High School. I've played brass instruments, a bit of piano, I taught drums.
I was a major league band fag in school. I was good at it. And I loved to perform. I loved having people cheer and clap for ME. I was in marching band, and in fact, taught a marching band for 6 years after I graduated.
I like to play with photoshop. I absolutely LOVE it.
I used to write quite a bit, but was only able to write when I was depressed.
Sports.
I will watch almost any sport.
I play soccer
PAINTBALL! I fucking love paintball. I probably have about $2000 invested in equipment. Unfortunatly I haven't been able to afford to play in about a year. So all my stuff is just collecting dust.
Cycling is a huge release for me as well. Road or mountain. I love them both. Last year I rode almost every day for 8 months, then I started smoking cigarettes again and the pot didn't help motivation much either.
I also love movies. I don't like TV sitcoms much, but I love movies, or shows about animals or whatever. I'll sit and watch a medical program about blocking enzymes to the heart for an hour, and love every second of it. I really like watching movies and TV with other people and discussing it afterwards.
I love playing board games and cards.
I used to be into flying, private pilot. Also was into HO Model trains. Eventually ran out of time and money to keep my pilots license current and time to play with the trains, so I sold all of them.
Now I'm into porn and Painting ceramic thimbles. I'm looking to branch off into painting porn on ceramic tile.
I like writing a lot, short stories, poetry, etc. It is a major outlet for me. I keep notebooks full of writing, just whatever I am feeling I write. I don't even think about what I am writing when I do, it just pours out.
I love music, I like a lot of stuff that you all know about. Like The Beatles being my most favorite band and that I like rap. But I also love classical music, opera, and such. My favorite opera is Don Giovani.
I love movies, I am very into the classics. I love the old B&W classics. Out of the thousands of movies I own, I would say 60% of them are pre-1965 movies. I go as far back as the silent movies.
I love discussing historic events, ranging on a ton of different eras. From last century politics, to ancient history. I love discussing history a lot, I have so much knowlege, I love sharing it. I immensly enjoy debates on the kennedy assassination and discussions on WW2.
I love boxing with a passion.
I played the claironet in my HS band, but I never really liked it much. I always wanted to learn how to play piano for one piece of music, Beethovens 'Moonlight Sonata'.
I love european literature, my favorite is Dostoyevsky. I also love Tolstoy and Pushkin. I love Shakespeare, Lord Byron, Poe, and a lot of other writers.
I love discussing the historic aspects of other things, such as movies, sports, etc beyond basic history of civilization.
I love going to the museum and spending countless hours staring at sculptures, I enjoy sculptures more than paintings. But I have always wanted to go to the sistine chapel, it's a life long dream to see the ceiling.
There is so much more but that's enough for now.
My dad was a huge train buff. But he too gave it up. I don't think that's something the youth of today is into. It's alot of time, but pays off with a huge reward if you build dioramas and stuff.
Kids now just want their video games and blood and gore.
I used to be really into the military. Weapons, tactics, all that shit. But haven't been into it in years. I guess I grew out of it?

This may sound stupid, but computers. Yes, they're my job *and* my hobby, which means I completely enjoy my job - when I actually have something to fix, that is.
I like things that work my mind, that's why coding was fun. And figuring out stuff in Photoshop. Anything where I have to solve a problem, I enjoy completely.
And movies. Movies rock. I have somewhere around 125 DVDs.
I also like to read.
I am always looking for a new author to read.
I get obsessive about an author and try to read everything I can find by them.
The last author on my list was Janet Evanovich. She writes about a woman bounty hunter in Trenton, NJ.
<span style='font-size:13pt;line-height:100%'>Jazzercise</span>
I've always been into reading a researching the great military leaders of the past. I found "Art of War" to be a most helpful book, when I was in sales. I am planning on re-reading it soon.
I also enjoy reading up on the Mob, from it's roots to today. I am so fascinated by it, I read several mob books this year. I read bios on capone, lansky, luciano, a book on the westies and a couple other books.
I also love playing cards, I can play cards for hours on end. Poker, Gin, etc.
I was never much into video games, The only games I enjoy are sports games, mainly baseball.
I collect a lot of memrobilia, mainly historic documents and autographs of people I like. To some it is just a signature and no big deal, trust me I thought the same way about it. But it's like a piece of history to me. To think so and so held this and signed it is kinda cool. Like right above my monitor I have several signed baseballs, some I met in person and some not. But there is something about staring at a ball signed by Barry Bonds that is pretty cool to me. I have a wide array of signed items, from historical documents to movie posters, etc.
I also like collecting small statues, and busts. I love my replica of the 'Maltese Falcon', it's from the original cast from the one in the Bogart film. I have busts of composers, etc. I have a bronze replica of the Moses statue done by Michaelangelo, naturally not to scale.
I like collecting pictures from poignant events in history and one day wanna frame them all and hang them up. Like the hindenburg burning, the wtc buildings, ruth calling his shot, etc etc.
collecting old baseball cards and sports related memorobilia...though been tight with cash the last few months
crazy amounts of softball....season coming to an end in 2 weeks
watching almost any sport ...minus curling
scrabble
darts
pool
fuck that reading shit :-D
Fucking around on the internet, sleeping, going to shows/concerts, ocassionally drinking, watching football...thats about it, I'm pretty lazy about that kind of stuff.
I am totally into music. Like maymay I played a lot of brass instruments, but taught myself guitar in junior high, and have not put it down since. I love playing, singing... maybe one day I'll post a tune or two here. We've done the poetry thread before... maybe a member music thread is a good idea (copyright clusterf@#$ 2002) LMFAO. (start it if you want to.. I don't care.)
Another one of my hobbies (and a dorky one at that) is fish. I've been doing it since I was little... my dad gave me my first tank when I was about 9... he got bored, I didn't. Right now I've got about 20 African Cichlids in my living room, a bunch of sick and breeding tanks laying around. I've had them breed, I've got an eye for sickness, and just a general knack for keeping them alive.
Maybe I'll post a pic of my tank tonight. It's pretty sweet... keeps me busy, and gets my mind off things.
I love blowjobs, a lot. Should add that as well.

Had to ask, giving or receiving? :-D
