With Raw's ratings nearing the toilet, the stock already in the toilet, house shows, raw and smackdown shows no where near capacity, PPV sales down, Royal Rumble coming in 2 months with 30 men and shot at World title at Wrestlemania and 2 companies and 2 world belts, and finally Stephanie and Bischoff kissing, could this be a sign at least that they are teasing the end of the split.

Without Stephanie and Bischoff fighting what sense does it make to keep the split going. With the royal rumble coming in 2 months, how the Hell are they going to explain 30 men from 2 separate companies, fighting for a right to fight for the world title, but which one, HHH's or Brock Lesnar's.

There are a lot of advantages to the split, especially Angle, Benoit, Edge, Rey Mysterio, and the Guerreros getting major pushes on Smackdown and becoming major stars or bigger than they were. You also have HHH on one show instead of 2.

Disadvantages are that you cannot see Booker T, RVD, and Jericho vs Angle, Benoit, Mysterio, Edge and Guerrero. And you see lots of guys who should not be on tv, like Mark Henry, Spike Dudley, Chris Nowinski, etc.

Even though there have been some pushes that have come from this, i really think it is time to end the split at the Royal Rumble with say HHH vs Brock Lesnar (think Lesnar with help from Scott Steiner) for the undisputed belt and the winner of the Rumble (think Angle) to face the winner at Wrestlemania.

I really think the split needs to end for the good of the business.
Vince has already said that the split failed in an investor meeting of stock holders. So, it's just a matter of time.
i don't think they are going to end the split though...they just added a tag belt exclusive to smackdown...it would make even less sense now to end it...they should make raw better, that would be a start
explain what happens now than with bishoff kissing stephanie and stephanie enjoying it, thus ending their feud. also, how does the royal rumble work this year, and whose belt does the person get a shot at. if a smackdown guy wins he gets a shot at lesnar and if a raw guy wins he gets a shot at hhh. sounds stupid to me. the best thing for business is to end it at the rumble or at armageddon in december but figuring the rumble because it is a bigger ppv
Nothing...Mark my words nothing will help wrestling at the moment....They could have a live, lesbian orgy on tv, and still they would'nt have anywhere near the numbers they had a few years ago....Wrestling is a cycle, it's up, it's down...Sure it does'nt help that the product itself stinks, but nothing will help the product at the moment...They just need to hope the upswing happens again soon
I never could understand why the Hell, with all the TV time that Vince has on Viacom, that he can't make a completely separate ECW brand or something. ECW TV survived with shit production and 2 hours of TV a week, and a PPV every three months. Hell, TNA is doing so-so with their format.

ECW survived? I bet the bankruptcy lawyers might like to know this.

They were losing boatloads of money, which is why the promotion was sold.
wrestling is gay
... if the ratings continue to be shitty, why can't they order the Rock to resume normal duties? At least part of the shows would be entertaining.

WWE is gay. Kobashi breaking his arm 2 minutes into a match and continuing to battle Misawa for 45 minutes is most certainly not gay.

Because he's making much more money making shitty movies in Hollywood than Vince could afford to pay him to wrestle full time in his shitty promotion.

Just to add on this, why would they have HBK come back only to have Steiner interfere and help lesnar win?

on the whole wrestling split? Just as far as it sinks is how quickly it will return back to the top of its game

But I said this is at the Royal Rumble at end of January not Survivor Series. I think HBK will be feuding with someone else by Royal Rumble and HHH will either retain his belt or get it back for the Rumble thsus giving a unification match.
Anything to stop Taz from saying "Only on Smackdown" 408,000 times during the course of the show. Confuseduicide:
