Everyone looks forward to football on Thanksgiving. Why continually put on shitty games with teams that are bad. Here is a good idea. The whole country is watching the games, why not put on the game of the week that day or alternate teams on thanksgiving.
Thursday, Nov. 28
New England at Detroit, 12:30 pm
Washington at Dallas, 4:05 pm
because the good teams deserve to be at home with their families
The last good game i saw on thanksgiving, was Thanksgiving 2000. Dallas vs. Minnesota. Now for me it was a good game cuz Aikman (im pretty sure it was Aikman) was getting his ass kicked the whole game by the Vikings.
Who was it had that stupid fumble on Thanksgiving? Nate Newton?
that was the only thanksgiving game I remember
I don't look forward to football on Thanksgiving.

Wasn't it Leon Lett?
As for why it's always Dallas and Detroit on Thanksgiving: tradition. The NFL is probably the only major sports league that gives a shit about it, albeit at times to a fault.

I think it was the third time he fucked up a touchdown return. The first was during the supr bowl.
it was also the day it snowed at Dallas Stadium.
Leon Lett was the one who fumbled against Buffalo in the Superbowl when the Cowboys were winning like infinity to 12.
Pats will DESTROY Detroit come Thanksgiving. Not only that, but I'll be fat and sleepy. All in all, a good day.
Go Lions and Go Cowboys! :toast:
It's tradition...
I'm throwing my support to Detroit, in order to help the Jets in their division....
And I'm supporting Dallas to help out the Giants...
i never said this before, and i will never say it again...
go cowboys!
They were playing the dolphins that day if I'm not mistaken.
maybe i missed something, but why are so many teams going back to their old uniforms this year? browns, broncos, pats, lions, lots more i cant think off, too
the browns and broncos just went to 3rd color jerseys
and judging by nfl.com, this is a throwback week or something
