well it's a 2 hour special now instead of one, next tuesday on tnn. So far all they said is Bobby Heenan and Mene Gene Okerlund will be there. Have to figure it will be big and I am wondering if any of the old guys that do show up stick around.
I thought it was odd that originally it was only a 1 hour show - ten years is a lot of ground to cover, and the normal show itself is normally 2 hours. I wonder if they originally thought they wouldn't have enough guest appearances to fill a full 2 hour slot?
well they are still having a live raw on monday for 2 hours, than 2 hours live on tuesday from the world and than a taped smackdown on thursday, and than the Royal Rumble on the next Sunday. That is a lot of time to write for.
James, whom I work with is saying he thinks Bret Hart will show.
I seriously doubt Bret would ever come back to the WWF.
Hogan is a no-brainer.
Rock also has to show.
Austin would be huge.
Hillbilly Jim best be there.
I hope HHH doesn't show, he'll take up half the show talking about how great he is.
Quote:Hillbilly Jim best be there.
Was he ever on raw.
Quote:Hogan is a no-brainer.
Don't count on it.
Quote:HULK HOGAN TO RETURN TO THE RING...AND NOT FOR WWE
Quote:Hulk Hogan will be returning to the ring on 1/19 for the Wrestle-1 event promoted by All Japan Pro Wrestling and K-1 at the Tokyo Dome.
Hogan arrived in Japan today with his son Nick and was announced as appearing on the show. His opponent has yet to be named.
Hogan's match on 1/19 will be his first since the angle on WWE Smackdown where he was "injured" by Brock Lesnar. Relations between the promotion and Hogan broke down over how he would be handled upon his return, although there was some cooperation in regard to promoting his autobiography. Hogan has been open to returning when making media appearances.
It will be Hogan's first bout in Japan since a 1/4/94 bout with Tatsumi Fujinami at that year's New Japan Pro Wrestling Tokyo Dome event. Hogan worked for New Japan regularly in the 1980s and returned to that promotion in 1993, working there on major events until joining World Championship Wrestling in July 1994.
Wrestle-1 announced that Keiji Muto (The Great Muta) and Bill Goldberg will be teaming on the event on 1/19, and there is speculation in Japan that Hogan may be one of their opponents.
The addition of Hogan will be the start of a major promotion push for the event, which is just over a week away, and has a lot of tickets to sell, as they've yet to announce any matches for the 60,000 seat Tokyo Dome.

No he'll bring Piazza. I doubt Bret will show up but it would be interesting to see some of the others mentioned here like Foley Austin and the Meros drop by.
You can't have a WWE anniversary show without Hogan, I can't believe he won't be there.

I was reading about the Superskate charity event at MSG this past weekend on WWE.com and something kind of stood out about Mick Foley. And he is the area. So what better time to come back than tonight.
Quote:As far as a possible return to WWE television, Foley said Eric Bischoff’s appearance on RAW proved that “you never say never.”
“Every once in a while, I see something on (WWE) TV and wish that I was a part of it,” he said. “But for the most part, the positives of being away outweigh the negatives. It would be nice to come back, but so far, the right opportunity hasn’t come up.”
I think HBK deserves the Superstar of the Decade award, but I'm guessing big nose will win it

I think this will be the main surprise of the night when Stone Cold comes back.
HHH besides when he was with DX really never added anything to RAW except 20 minute promos at the start of every show.
Austin on the other hand worked every show to the max. Crybaby or not austin always put on a show. Who can forget the beer trucks, the zambonies, the whole time he was vying for vinces affection with angle. The little cowboy hat and badge, all the memrobale moments.
HBK and HHH ruled with DX but they didn't have as many memrobale moments as austin.
Lets not forget austin and tyson.
Though we are all overlooking one person who could take it from austin, The Rock.
I still say it's Austin because he did say he will be in the 2003 Royal Rumble. Anyone remember his promo the raw after last year's. Well we know the writers probably forgot, but the fans remember. From an ok Raw with 2 good segments and what seems to be a dreadful Smackdown with a horrendous main storyline, this show tonight is going to sell the Royal Rumble.
What better way to sell it, than have Austin win superstar of the decade and to announce that he will enter himself in this years Royal Rumble. Wanna bet the buyrates would be much much higher than what it currently is.
But austin was on RAW and all the RAW spots are filled for the rumble, unless he takes someone out.
It's tough, you got rock coming back and if he just disappears again that would suck. Austin maybe coming back, some other superstars. This is gonna be a very interesting night to say the least.
I cannot believe that one of the biggest holy shit moments is not even getting mention. The night Tommy Dreamer and RVD came out of the crowd, the Dudleys, Raven, Justin Credible came down to help, but turned around and ECW was reformed. Of course they fucked it up immediately by putting stephanie in charge.
That was a great moment, the moment I saw RVD I knew all would be well.

3 minute Warning or Stone Cold. Tough Decision. You always have Heat for him to kick someones ass out if he does come back.
3 Minute warning would own austin, they got the dope moves kid.
I would'nt put it past Triple H, let's just say if he wins I won't be suprised.
I think HBK deserves the award
