A friend asked me the other night what noises were annoying to me.

Honestly nothing really bothers me unless it's interfering with something i'm doing. i.e.: snoring while I'm watching TV, or something like that. Nails on a blackboard don't bother me, or any of the other common noises.

But today....I found a noise that was truly annoying. In front of my office building, they were putting up a new street sign. They have this tool that you place on top of the post, and it hammers the post through the concrete into the ground. It's this annoying metal on metal jackhammer sound, mixed with a gas motor.

It made my ears bleed.

the door slamming when someone leaves aim bothers me...

constant complaining by people in the office drives me nuts too

The teeth of two knives rubbed together. Don't ask me why, I just hate that grating sound.

Oh, and snoring too.

on an opposite note, falling rain at night is a quite pleasing sound.
