by Dave Scherer Updated: 2/10/2003 4:24:52 PM

We have sad news to report. Curt Hennig was found dead today in a Tampa, FL hotel room. Hennig was in Tampa to work a show for Jimmy Hart tonight. This afternoon, he was found dead in his hotel room. We don't know any more details at this time.

The staff of 1Wrestling.com sends our deepest condolences to the Hennig family.
:-(
steroid breakdown fueled by large amounts of cocaine. thats my guess.
:cries:
[Teenweek]Was it a PERFECT death?[/Teenweek]
holy shit, this is really sad :-(
anyone remember how Pillman died. Wasn't it a drug overdose in his hotel room. It sounds familiar. Just asking.
... soo, did he forget to spit out his gum and smack it away BEFORE he passed out, thus choking on said gum?
I hope Vince gives a nice ribute before Raw even though he was no longer on their roster
....they need to show him smashing Hulk Hogan's belt with a hammer ... that would make my day...
RIP Mr Perfect!

:thumbs-up:
fubar
What the fuck is it with all these wrestlers dying young?? Bulldog, Pillman,Rick Rude. Someone really needs to look into this. But I won't be the slightest bit surprised if it is an OD. :disappointed:
It's the terrorists
that does suck...he was a great wrestler back in the day...
whats a jobber?
they always lose. Basically all of HHH's opponents. Chris Jericho is a good example.
i guess Death pinned Mr. Perfect. there was one match Mr. Perfect couldn't win. RIP.
They could have a great six man tag. Mr. Perfect, Andre, Brian Pillman, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Rick Rude.
Don't forget Gorilla Monsoon.

a good jobber would be Brooklyn Brawler.
