I'll look into the Santa Cruz card, it was mentined in PC Gamer recently too.

I'm also gonna go with the Radeon 9700 card, but should I get the pro or non-pro?

so.... what kind of mouse are you getting?
shit, I need one of those, don't I?
duh!
thank God for you!! I would've been mouse-less.
you can get a video game controller and a program to let you use it as a mouse
I'll stick with my optical mice.

Quote:64 MB DDR Nvidia GeForce4MX - I plan on changing this right away, to either the Ti4200/4600

Don't waste the $... I had the 64 mb mx440 and "upgraded" to the 128 mb ti4800 ...Waste of fucking money is all it was. theres no noticeable difference in anything. games, movies, pictures. the 64 mb one was fine.
i have the mx420 and i have no problems with it whatsoever. i dont think theres any need to spend the money just yet...in a year, yeah. but right now, the 64mb mx's are fine
these cards are somewhat slow as compared to the games I'm planning on playing in the near future - the Radeon 9700 will keep me well within the range I'd like to be - and I picked it up today for $259.00 (boxed retail - I love PC Shows) - it's the Pro version, but not the All-In-Wonder card 'cause i really don't need the TV in and out shit. Now I just gotta wait 'till the machine gets here :5:
