I am not defending HHH, but what is long with long title reigns. Doesn't that add more legitamacy to the belt.

Here are the 2 longest runs in WWE/WWF/WWWF history:

Longest Reign : Bruno Sammartino (2,803 days)
Longest Reign (WWF World Only) : Hulk Hogan (1,474 days)


There are too many title changes now. The longer teh current title holds onto it, the sweeter the victory is for what ever opponent pins him.

I think HHH holds onto until Summerslam when he loses to Goldberg.

Sammartino was a draw. Hogan was a draw. HHH is NOT a draw. There's nothing wrong with long title reigns, the problem is the current champ is someone people are frankly sick of seeing. Hence the low buyrates, low attendance, low ratings, etc.

And why didn't Goldberg have a match on this PPV?

That's what I said sir o, where the fuck was Goldberg? Golddust putting another wig on Goldbergs head woulda been the highlight of yesterdays PPV.

The PPV was a farce and horrible, it was so bad I dunno if it would have made a decent raw or smackdown.

The thing about Goldberg is, it's so blatantly obvious that they either a)had no idea what to do with him right from the start, or b)are doing their best to bury him hard, or c)both. Like, they got the guy who played the role of Goldberg, but they didn't get Goldberg, if that makes any sense. If they were as good at booking enjoyable wrestling programming as they are at burying ex-WCW guys, they'd be in real good shape right now...
