I missed 4, and 47 out of 51 correlates to 55/60.
seems unfair that someone who gets only 33 questions right out of 60 they can still score above 100.
so, your score is decided purely on age and nothing else. this is total bullshit
well it has a score next to the number of questions right.
so for me 53 was the number right.
then its broken up between 3 different age brackets from 18-70
the older you are the higher your score for the same number of questions right, so if you are over 40 you get more points than a 20 year old for the same number of questions answered correctly.
The highest possible score for 18-35 was 135.
well what else should it count on?
And Suzie, it's not that cut and dry. I think the Language and memory sections were the hardest ones. As it went on, the others were pretty easy. Logic and Math were cake. The only ones I had real trouble with was the mirror image stuff for some reason
just because we are apart doesn't mean our mental link has broken
eric and trish are smarter than me :29:
And what's with the bullshit of James Woods getting a 180. The scale we had didn't come close to that.
Plus, I fucking hate James Woods.
still pretty sure I'd score above average if I hadn't been late. In 8th grade I scored 140.
The test doesn't go up that high, fuckin asshats.

if i'd skipped the first 9 questions i woulda had 49 out of 51 which by your logic correlates to 58/60...
actually, no, by your logic it would be 57/60 because you seem to have lost one in the transition.
and yes, eric and i got the same score but i think we missed different questions.
it doesn't have an acurate scale, when i was tested as a kid for 3 hours, i had a score of 153, so i am gonna go by that since it was given by actual scientists
yeah I woulda had 57/60 as well.

why are you hatin' on the esteemed scientists from Fox?
i have to say i'm dissappointed. if they were gonna call it an iq test they could at least have used a standard iq scale. doesn't it go up to like 220 or something?
and
Quote:well what else should it count on?
it's not so much that they based it purely on age, it's that they basically just added 20 points for each age group. so, are they saying that your iq goes up as you get older? it's supposed to determine your raw intelligence, not what you learn in life. why do the oldies get free points?

i guess according to them, that lady who got 228 must have been around 200 years old
well i got 54 out of 60 but the numbers are fucked. i got a 152 when i got tested as a kid.
I loved when they were interviewing the celebrities and when they showed the caption of their names, below they put their occupation. So for Michael Johnson it said athlete, for Heidi Fliess it said 'author'....
yeah, i thought that was kinda funny too

I call our bet off since I didn't know age would be a factor, sorry gramps.
