he's going to be good :thumbs-up:
Reyes is going to put up great numbers in AAA this year.
the mets aren't going to send him back down
and they have a 2nd baseman scutaro in the minors who's putting up good numbers too
that middle infield is going to be sweet
I hear eating too much pizza will make you delusional...I guess it's true.
I'm taking a wait and see approach with this guy. I like what I see so far. But he is an improvement over Sanchez.
You need a tow truck to move Mo Vaughn from the dug out?
Reyes is great, but everyone seems to be overlooking what Jason Phillips is doing.
he's 26 and it looks like the mets won't have room for him, which sucks for them. hopefully they find a way to use him
i hope they don't sign a second baseman and let scutaro play there next year. i'd rather see him there then some overpriced free agent
Look at Piazza, first game back with a homer and 3 ribbies already.
It's too bad they didn't ditch Alomar after last season. We coulda kept Fonzie. I haven't seen enough of Scutaro to really say how he's doing. They're saying Philips will be #1 Catcher next year, I'm not so sure about that now. I think he'll platoon with Piazza at 1st and behind the plate. I think the infield will be pretty formiddable as well. Wiggie is no slouch and Reyes needs a little polishing, but he's doing great so far, and the bench is pretty well stocked. The rebuilding begins.
I agree, I don't see how you can say they have no room for Phillips next year. He could easily be the Mets everyday catcher.
my fantasy team welcomes Piazza back with open arms.
I'm not saying they don't have room for Philips. I'm taking a wait n see approach.
16 game hit streak and he's batting 317
make that 17 game hitting streak and he stole his 12th base today. phillips is batting .330 with 10 homers.
It's a beautiful thing. Trachsel beats his wins record. Hekkeps this up he may make it 15 plus this year. Great game all around.
