I'm amazed someone still remembers her name, yet I bet no one can name a single one of the passangers who took down the terrorists on flight 93, without looking it up on Google or something.
DON'T get me started on that,
I live in the same FUCKING town as Todd Beamer......
You didn't know he took on all the terrorists by himself,
just ask his chasing a buck widow....
LET'S ROLL!!!
But the Goverment told us they did, cause they said it after everyone was saying our own people shot the plane down.
shows how much you know, the goverment wouldnt lie to us, we went to iraq to free the iraquis.
I WANT A CONFIRMED KILL DAMMIT!!!
when Bush called her out during his speech I wanted to vomit,
no matter what happened on the plane,
it seemed a group of people were going to try to do "something"
It angers me to know end, that one woman was able to suck up all the credit and attention.....
and book deals,
and
and
and
well if it makes you feel any better, the congressional investigation into the details of 9/11 concluded that; flight 93 was actually crashed by the terrorists themselves purposely to avoid the passangers taking control of the cockpit.
But while his wife may be this or that, in my heart him and the others on flight 93 are heros in the truest sense, they actually made a difference that day, wether they took it down or the terrorists took it down to avoid them taking control. When so many people were called "hero" after that day, many didn't deserve it but they did.
not "passengers" just the one shining hero Todd Beamer,
I read the Book, I know,
He stormed forward to chants of "Give em hell Todd".....
well according to the transcripts of his cell phone conversation with an operator, he did drop the phone before he and 3 other men rushed toward the cockpit and he did say "LET'S ROLL"
I dunno about the give em hell part, but I know that eventually his wife made it as if he was superman and did it all by himself. But that's his wife and no matter how cheesey it may seem to say let's roll, would you have gotten up and done it? I hope to think I would have.
I think it's all a big conspiracy, there was no Flight 93, it was an alien spacecraft. Trust no one
I bet we shot them down ourselves.
Oh I think what he, AND OTHER PASSENGERS did, was quite heroic.
My problem is that his wife worked hard to make it seem like it was a one man show
AND,
the administration was working VERY hard to put a face to American Heroism,
and played with her hand in hand.
I am upset that HIS is the only name that was mentioned.
and that I can't buy a bagle in the morning without seeing something about the Todd Beamer foundation.
I wouldn't doubt it if we did, but still in the probability that we didn't the 4 men on that day will forever be heroes and should be praised.
maybe his wife is a money hungry witch but who in this society wouldn't be? Who here could in good conscience say that they would turn down a money making opportuinity? That's like saying if a hospital kills your mother, that you wouldn't sue.
the hospital DID kill my mother,
and I paid extra just like I promised.
Whatever it takes families to survive that is pretty much fine with me. If her belief that he was hero of the day gives a little peace, none of it bothers me none. My brother survived. I have zero complaints about the methods of coping. In the end, the death takes precedence. I'm a big fat stupid pushover.
& if its just greed, may she burn in any hell you choose.
Quote:I'm a big fat stupid pushover.
I don't think you are a pushover.
Thank you Ken.
When someone cries at me I am though.
Quote:Thank you Ken.
so not the reaction I was looking for.
Oh Ken. You're the best funny joker around.
