anyone watchin this tonight? It's on showtime at 8pm I think.

I believe basically, it's about bush and his staffs reactions on 9/11.

It's between this or the Pancho Villa movie on HBO, since HBO plays shit ad naseum like MTV, I will just catch the pancho villa films tomorow on HBO2.

Though I am changing the channel to hear Bush's speech tonight at 8:30.
From what I hear, they make it look like Bush walks on water in this docudrama.

You will hate it.
the dude who is playing pres. bush was the same guy that played him in "that's my bush" on comedy central.

Did fox news produce it?

I'm surprised they didn't get O'reilly to play Bush.

I actually quite enjoyed the film, it wasn't done too over the top to make him look like he was FDR. I think it was done just right.

I was confused on one bit though, when Cheyney was tracking the plane that eventually crashed in PA. I didn't get if the film was trying to insinuate that the government actually did shoot down the plane and say that the passangers took matters in their own hands. Cause it was made to seem like Cheyney employed the rules of engagement and had the plane shot down, then when he's on the phone with Bush he says that the passangers took matters in their own hands.

seemed a bit confusing.
I really wish my parents had Showtime. Maybe I'll try and download it over the next couple days.
I watched the first hour or so. I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh a few times.
What Cheney was saying is that he had authorized the shootdown of the PA plane but before it could happen the passengers had taken it into their own hands.

I thought it was actually pretty good.
But of course, the nay sayers and the negative conspiracy theorists will forever condemn Bush for being flown around the country istead of grabbing an M-16 himself and flying straight to DC.
I saw some of this the other day, and I thought it was horrible. I missed the first half hour, so I didn't get to see all the action, but him in the aftermath was quite over the top. I had to turn it off. The RNC must have written the script.
