if they're mpegs, theres a goo chance you could just burn them directly, but if they are avi's its gonna suck...hard
I have a finding nemo avi i wanna burn to dvd and i have nero. Is it really hard or just annoying?
i think i had something like that, and it took forever to convert things.

if theyre .avi files, you'll have to convert them to an MPEG file because DVD players are based on MPEG architecture. If theyre MPEG or MPG files, then just burn the files as VCD's and bear in mind you wont be able to fit them all on one disc.

if you gotta convert them it's not hard, just annoying and it can take some time. Look at the link I posted, it's a very helpful site.
After careful consideration, I am gonna watch them on my computer and save myself the headache.

thanks, goodnight.
whassamatta...scared to try and figure it out????????
I just watched the first episode, sooo good.
Ok here's a question for ya. I have 2 avi files that i want to make one and then burn to disk. Can i do this and how?
look for and download Pecks AVI joiner. it'll join both files.

if you wanna burn them to disk but leave them as avi files, just use nero or something.

if you wanna watch them on a dvd player, you gotta convert them and then burn them (see above posts).

I use Adobe Premere to merge files...but that's cause I know how to use it...this joiner program sounds cool...
i downloaded the joiner and it works great. Super fast to. Thanks Goaty.
no problem - glad I could help.
You'll all be sharing a cell with the twelve year old.

Lucky fucks!
can you use regular cd-r's or do i need the special more expensive dvd ones?
regular cd r's should be fine

actually it depends on your stand alone
(if you were talking vcd's)
you can look here: dvdrhelp

some players (like my sony) need cdrw's.
some players (like my RCA) use any old cdr.

a very few will only play dvd's.
