PeterDragon Wrote:drusilla Wrote:can you use regular cd-r's or do i need the special more expensive dvd ones?
actually it depends on your stand alone
(if you were talking vcd's)
you can look here: dvdrhelp
some players (like my sony) need cdrw's.
some players (like my RCA) use any old cdr.
a very few will only play dvd's.
what about my playstation 2?
nope...cant at all with a ps2
i can't play any written dvd's with my ps2?
well......
you can get a mod chip (which you would have to solder into the ps2), which will allow you to copy, or download and burn ps2 games.
but... vcds and svcds, as far as i know cannot be played on a ps2.
yeah no dvd r's that ive made have worked on my ps2. Regular players no problem.
that's annoying. cause the ps2 is in my room. the dvd/vcd player is in my living room. it's rough trying to wrestle it from my dad.
these dvd players are so cheap. you can get one for like $60 that plays every format imaginable.
Doesn't your computer have a DVD player?
mine doesnt...but you dont need one for vcds or svcds....you just need power dvd
Mad Wrote:Doesn't your computer have a DVD player?
yes, but why would i want to watch a movie on a 15" when i could watch it on a 27' or a 62"?
Apparently not if she's got a 15" monitor.
Although, I have to admit that I'm impressed by her knowledge of " meaning inches.
whoo hoo! i'm not a moron!
Slow down! You have yet to prove that you're not a moron. But, you are earning points.
i would hope that a masters degree from columbia says something
columbia ...ha...i got one of those babies from harvard...and another from yale
A master's degree in cocaine distribution?
Not to mention if you expect your degree to speak, you should probably go back to school. :32:
