I dunno what the hell happened but all of a sudden everything is moving retardedly slow on my IE. It's not my connection cause my downloads are fast but it's mainly on this site and a few others. I went to the MS site and installed some updates but nothing helped. I dunno what to do.
I had to wait a minute for the cursor to catch up to what I typed a minute ago, this sick
when I view the board it moves fine, when I open a thread then it starts to move like molases.
Do you have a adware-like program to see if that is maybe the problem???
use either adaware or spybot - both are free applications. I use both, actually as one seems to miss what the other picks up, etc.
have you installed anything recently, like a plugin or something? a Google taskbar? etc.
worst case, you can always reinstall IE, but you'll need your Windows disk.

well I did what you guys said, I already had spybot and I d/l adaware and ran that. It removed some stuff but still didn't help.
I found a pretty cool site and it did a very thorough virus scan on my comp, much more thorough than mcafee, found 5 virus files on my comp and removed them. Then I installed a new firewall and all seems to be working much better now.
Thanks guys cause it was murder as to how slow it was cause when I was downloading all these programs my connection was fine, I was gettin 900 kbs transfers.
I also uninstalled soulseek cause this started a couple days after I started using it.
