Everyone is so worried about Michael Jackson's dealing with a cancer stricken kid at Neverland...
Yet, they ignore the fact that a clown is asking is for the publics help in getting sick children to shack up with him.
Double standards!
I like the way the supermarket across the street from me did it. YOu would buy something, and they would ask if you wanted to donate the change to whatever charity. I would always do it because I hate carrying around change and I feel good about myself. It's a win win situation.
The local firefighters here stand in the middle of the street with a firemans boot waiting for a red light to solicite for money.
I don't have the gonads to grab the boot and say "Thanks, now I have a matching set" yet.
But one day...................
I agree that the firefighters need money, I just don't like them begging for it on the corner. Hold a fucking fundraiser or some shit.
yeah, then it's easier for me to ignore it and pretend that needy kids don't exist.
If kids are in need then they need to work.
Or are they better than 3rd world kids in sweatshops?
I wish I had the fire departments they have round western NY, because they have the chicken BBQs and the spaghettis dinners every month. Awesome cheap food.
