My top 10 fights of all time
I have excluded most recent fights because their longevity has yet to be judged. So anything in the past decade hasn't been included.
1 - Muhammad Ali Vs. Joe Frazier (Ali wins by KO 15th Round) 1975
This was the third in the infamous fights between Frazier and ali. Frazier beat Ali in the 1st fight in 1971 at MSG and retained the title later on losing it to foreman in 2 rounds. Ali beat foreman in 74 by KO in the 8th. Ali & Frazier meet in the phillippines in the thrilla in manilla. No i don't like the fight cause it what in the phillippines, lol. This was an amazing back and forth fight. Ali closes fraziers eye and knocks out smokin' joes mouth piece. Eddie Futch throws in the towel before the 15th and final round cause Joe can't see. Ali was also contemplating quitting. After the fight Ali said "What you saw tonight, was next to death." Neither fighter was the same after this fight.
2 - Jack Dempsy Vs. Luis Firpo (Dempsy wins by KO 2nd round) 1923
Now i know the fight is only 2 rounds and the loser was knocked down 10 times in less than 4 minutes. But firpo withstood 7 first round knock downs to comes back and knock down Depmsy (something which had not been done before). With the second knock down dempsy goes through the ropes. Dempsy gets pushed back in by boxing writers. Firpo comes on with a massive assault and Dempsy is saved by the bell. All this in the 1st round!!! Dempsy barely conscious comes back with a fury that could only be instinct and knocks out Firpo in between Dempsy breaks firpos nose, 3 ribs, knocks out 4 teeth, breaks his eye socket and detaches Firpos retina.
3- Joe Louis Vs. Billy Conn (Louis Wins by KO 13) 1941
Louis who can be said is the greatest heavyweight of all times. One of the most dominating atleast. he held the belt a record 13 years with 25 successful defenses. This was a special match between Heavyweight Champ Joe Louis and Light Heavyweight Champ Billy conn. This was erie remenant of Jack Johnson and Stanley Ketchel. Both fights the heavyweight champ meets a lightweight and both times the Champ gets caught of guard and is challanged blow for blow for 12 rounds. But on both accounts when the Champ got pissed the opponent got KO'ed.
4- Marvin Hagler Vs. Tommy Hearns (Hagler wins by KO 3) 1985
The first round of this fight is without a doubt the greatest 3 minutes in the history of boxing. This was a war with potential knock out blows landing with the speed of a jab but landing with the force of a wrecking ball. Non stop action until a broken and exhausted hearns can not take anymore.
5- Aaron Pryor Vs. Alexis Arguello (Pryor wins by KO 14) 1982
The 80's were chok-full of great fights and this without a doubt probably the best of them all. Arguello was seeking an unprecedendented title in his 4th weight class. Arguello was favored over pryor by 2-1. Arguello explodes on pryor with bombing right hands that would have KO'ed anyone but Pryor's chin is unmatched and the best. Pryor wears down Arguello with his mind and a blazing mix of hooks and combinations in a breath taking battle when fire beat ice.
6 - Rocky Marciano Vs. Jersey Joe Walcott (marciano wins by KO 13) 1952
The unbeaten marciano is on his way to his first defeat. No one really knows how good the champion Marciano is and after Walcott floors Rocky in the 1st, people see he is not as unbeatable as thought. Walcott outwits and out punches the champ. With the fight coming to a close in the 13th, while walcott loads up for a punch, marciano lands what is probably the greatest and most famous punch in boxing history. A crushing right hook that contorts walcotts face and send him crashing to the canvas. For good measure marciano walks away and then back to clock Walcott once more while he was down, lol but he was not DQ'ed like Roy Jones was. With one punch Marciano saved his record in an amazing fight to see.
7 - Roberto duran Vs. sugar Ray Leonard (Duran Wins by decision in 15) 1980
8 - Sugar Ray Robinson Vs. jake lamotta (Robinson wins by KO 13) 1949 (The St Valentines Day Massacre.)
9- Jack johnson Vs. stanley ketchel) (Johnson wins by KO 12) 1909
10- Larry Holmes Vs. ken Norton (Holmes wins by decision 15) 1978
Honorable Mentions: Ali Vs. Foreman, Leonard Vs. Hearns, Bowe Vs. Holyfield 1, Hopkins Vs. Trinidad, Delahoya Vs. Vargas, Lyle Vs. Foreman.

does Gonzo really need to come back though? He's done it all! He's been voted the Best Poster Of All Time!!
He has conquered all, and silenced the naysayers. Perhaps it's best he went out on top.
