to notify you if you got the job?
I usally would give a call to check up after a week or so. Just so they keep you in mind and don't forget about you. Espically if I know there was alot of other applicants.
Call them up and ask whoever interviewed you. Maybe they're trying to make a decision and whoever calls first gets the job.
if i call, what would i say?
"Hi, this is Dennis. When do I start, chumps?"
I already said that at the interview
hi, this is sleeper, i interviewed there recently and i was wondering about the status of my application.
my name isn't really sleeper, i'd probably have to change "there" to "here" and there was no application. other than that, good call!
"I don't know if I could work for an organization that doesn't return phone calls. You guys sleeping over there?"
You should have asked this at the interview. "What should my next step be, and when can I expect to hear if I will be moving forward?
Now that you screwed that up, they'll think you have zero marketing/sales skills.
You should just show up at the office in a suit on Monday.
Well, they told me "you'll find out next week". It is now thursday of next week and I'm worried.
definately show up and ask where your corner office is
"You'll find out next week"
=
"I cant believe he actually thought he'd get this job"
I really just want this job so I won't have to go to my next job interview.
I'd like to move us right to Sleeper. We had a chance to meet this young man, and boy that's just a straight shooter with upper management written all over him.
then you call up. You should have been more clear.
Secretary answers: "Hello. My name is Dennis. No. like the restaurant, right. Well anyway, I had an interview with _ last week, and was told that I would hear at some point this week. As you can imagine, I am anxious to hear, and I was hoping I could get an update on the interview process.
OK, great, thanks. I will call him now."
rinse and repeat.
