how great is this show?

I love it, though I'll admit I can't get anyone to watch it. Best Buy had the second season for sale before the official release date and I bought it. I also just downloaded the Christmas specials that were shown in the UK, but not released here yet that wrap it all up. It's a fantastic show.

why?

Compare to other shows normal Americans have seen.

You can't really compare it to American shows cause British humor is so different. The best I can do is compare the humor of movies like Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and put it into an office setting with a wacky over-the-top boss.
