I totally respect the guy for what he did. He wasn't fighting for Bush. None of those guys are. They're fighting for you and I. And you gotta give him props for being a non-military type, and ending up in the Rangers that quick.
If it's selfish to fight to secure the freedom of man, then yes.
HEY SLEEPER, WHY DONT YOU MOVE TO FRANCE, COMMIE!!!
Sleeper would look great in a Beret.
I think any type of a career in which you put your life on the line for others is as noble as it gets - whether its in the military, police, fire dept, whatever. Whatever his motivations were for enlisting he gets my respect for doing what I would probably piss my pants over doing. It's hard to say that he went to fight for Bush - unless he specifically said that was his motivation, I dunno - because there are loads of people over there fighting because that's the job they chose to do, regardless of Bush, Clinton, or whoever is calling the shots.
i dont think most people who join the military do it for political reasons, most do it because they're patriotic and want to serve their country. they have high ideals about the fact that we have so many freedoms in this country, more than anywhere else and feel strongly that even if they may not agree with the current administration they need to defend those freedoms.
the second panel is hilarious.
i give the guy credit for having the balls to put that out there.
MSNBC didn't publish it due to poor taste.
are they saying that Tillman was a queer?
yea i wondered about that part too
my sons gay and i love him.
i love my dead gay son.
very well written...That guy from Mass wrote an article about it and got flamed for it. Pretty much ripped Tillman apart for what he called dying for nothing and being un pendejo for giving it all up.
they are no reporting that it might have beeen friendly fire that killed him.
that's gotta burn
