It's tremendous spending that this administration has done. It's signing bills that have so much other shit in them. Every fucking bills gets a couple bilion tagged on by just about every fucking person in Congress, and these get signed into law. Getting into matters of marriage, shit that he should have nothing to do with. Taking long vacations. fuck that, I want a fucking president that wakes up every morning ready to make this government work for the American people. Fuck these fucking trips everywhere. I'm sure everyone would understand that the President can't come today, he's busy running the country. That's what I want. Fix this fucking shit. Get rid of these programs we don't fucking need. We don't need to raise taxes, we need to get rid of government programs that are bullshit. Get rid of these fucking lobbyists. How much has the government grown? How many more programs are out there now?
It's nice that the Democrats are campaigning on Hollywood movie. Yes, this is how to get Bush.
yea I don't get why anyone who advocates less government would vote for Bush. Look past his republican label and look at what he's actually doing.
By that logic, it would seem that those that like more government support Bush.
The Jays Wrote:By that logic, it would seem that those that are morons support Bush.
The Sleeper Wrote:By that logic, it would seem that liberals are morons that support Bush.
my point is that the notion of conservatives/republicans believing in less government and liberals believing in more government has gone completely out the window. This election is gonna be based on the war on terrorism and social issues like gay marriage. Neither president is gonna lead us into a free market economy anytime soon.
Compassionate Conservative = Liberal who doesnt like the environment, spends just as much on other programs, and cares too much about the religious right.

Gay marriage shouldnt be an issue. Bush wasnt the one who brought it up, and he shouldnt exacerbate it. Neither should Hollywood blockbuster movies. Imagine how many people would ridicule NASA if they came to Congress and said Armeggedon and Deep Impact are reasons we should invest more money in the space program.

John Kerry Must Go
Note to Democrats: it's not too late to draft someone—anyone—else

WASHINGTON, D.C.— With the air gushing out of John Kerry's balloon, it may be only a matter of time until political insiders in Washington face the dread reality that the junior senator from Massachusetts doesn't have what it takes to win and has got to go. As arrogant and out of it as the Democratic political establishment is, even these pols know the party's got to have someone to run against George Bush. They can't exactly expect the president to self-destruct into thin air.

With growing issues over his wealth (which makes fellow plutocrat Bush seem a charity case by comparison), the miasma over his medals and ribbons (or ribbons and medals), his uninspiring record in the Senate (yes war, no war), and wishy-washy efforts to mimic Bill Clinton's triangulation gimmickry (the protractor factor), Kerry sinks day by day. The pros all know that the candidate who starts each morning by having to explain himself is a goner.

What to do? Look for the Dem biggies, whoever they are these days, to sit down with the rich and arrogant presumptive nominee and try to persuade him to take a hike. Then they can return to business as usual—resurrecting John Edwards, who is still hanging around, or staging an open convention in Boston, or both.

If things proceed as they are, the dim-bulb Dem leaders are going to be very sorry they screwed Howard Dean.
Ridgeway is out of touch. The Left is panicking...or the morons who follow along thinking that Kerry was going to have a lead through-out and that Bush was just going to lay down and die. Jeez, half these people seem to forget how early it is, and that Kerry will be in the forefront of the news with his VP pick and the convention, plus a blitz in October. Till those things, it will be pretty quiet. Meanwhile, Bush admin has been having their boys leak Kerry negative tidbits, and letting the press chip away, etc. It's all a part of this election process, and to tell you the truth....it won't be till after the republican convention in early Sept for things to shape up...I think the end of Sept and early Oct for the real fight. And late Oct-election day for when we will know for sure where things truly are.
HAHHAHAHAHAHAH,
Some people are so dense,
they just don't get it,

The election is months away, and I read a quote like "Threads like this are stupid, what do they do?"

I believe bush is a horrible president , doing horrible things to my country,
and if by talking about it, I can influence a couple more people to take interest, and actually vote,
then I am happy with the job I have done.

Sleeper Nader fucked Gore last election,
If SOME Nader votes went to gore last time, GW would not be in office.

If you or Nader really care about the environment and the little guy.
you should see that there is a HUGE difference between what bush has done, and what gore would have done.

I urge all Nader supporters to cast a vote that will help your ideals,
not hurt them.
I think that Nader is great but a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush. Its as simple as that.
Nader is great as an advocate for change...I woudn't want him in office.
agreed,
Nader is becoming ego driven,
sometimes you gotta look at the bottom line.

He MUST see that the worlds environment has been significantly effected by his indirect aid in getting bush into office.
A vote for Nader is a vote for Nader. Most people who vote for Nader, would not vote for anyone if Nader doesn't run. 10 times as many democrats voted for Bush, than voted for Nader in the last election. Al Gore didn't win his own fucking state in the last election. He is solely to blame for losing the election. Also, I live in New York, Kerry will win the state anyway, so who cares about your useless "realistic" theory that if I somehow vote for Nader I'm supporting Bush. Bush has as much a chance as Nader of winning the state. I am voting in an election, not betting on a horse.
Sleeper,
I would rather you bet on a big underdog in a horserace,
if it hits you win big,
if it loses you are only out 2$ (or whatever you bet)

votes for nader helped put bush in office PERIOD.

I also think it's a shame when people don't vote.

the low voter turn out we get in this country is a shame,

so many people pay lip service to the "men who died for this country"

how about we honor them by voicing the freedoms they died for......

someone get me a soap box, I am just winding up here.
Gore running a shitty campaign and being an unlikeable candidate helped put bush into office PERIOD.
Gore did NOT excite me,
I thought his tone was condescending,
and he never really articulated a vision,

that being said,
he was a much better choice than bush...
and the nader votes in Fla would have made moot all the hanging chads.
How do you guys feel that Kerry is doing so far? He's gonna announce his vice president earlier that usual. Books keep coming out discussing Bush's policies. Clinton's book is about to be out there.

What about all this talk that people from my side have, about the Clintons not wanting Kerry to win because Hillary wants to run in 08?
I still say most Nader supporters have no interest in either major political party. That being said, if i lived in Florida, I might consider voting for Kerry. But otherwise, in NY, my vote for Nader means as much as my vote for Bush or Kerry, nothing in the long run. When we get rid of the electoral college, then come talk to me about excercising my freedoms that war heroes have died for and the rest of that crap.
