But I waited to watch this, and at about 4 AM last night I finally did. And what did I feel? Nothing.
Got what I guess is a good night's rest these days, went to work, and watched the video again at work. Why? Dunno...it was there. Still no feeling. No emotion, watching some guy getting his head cut off. Hearing him scream, watching the knife cut through his flesh. Nothing.
Maybe it's because I've seen too many Faces Of Death videos? After watching people getting eaten by lions and Budd Dwyer blowing his brains out, government executions, that beheading video with the Russians killing the rebel dude, this isn't anything I haven't seen before. I'm desensitized. I've seen this already, just different actors and a different plot.
Every day I get angrier and angrier that we're in Iraq. Jays, you nailed it when you said I'm angry. I am. But talk of Iraq opens up a million questions, questions we don't want answered. Why Iraq, and not Saudi Arabia? Why was money diverted from rebuilding Afghanistan to attacking Iraq? And more, much more...
And when I see people supporting, apologizing for our government that got us into this mess, that took us to war for no good reason...yeah, I'm angry. How can you support this? These people have so much blood on their hands, so many lives, how aren't they being hanged for treason?
As an American who only speaks one language, it is clear to me that the people speaking Arabic aren't doing so as if it's their maiden language. The CIA's experts are clearly wrong.

Well, see what happened is that when he was a young boy George Bush wanted to be rich. So he figured that he'd make it in oil. The Mideast being the best place to make that happen, he realized he would need to align himself with a rebel force in the mideast to take over the area. . When he was 10, he was able to convince his father that he should become president, and prior to that become head of the CIA so he could control illegally funneling money abroad, to set GW's plans in motion at a later date. After his father entered the CIA, he began to search for willing adversaries, and settled on UBL and helped him by getting his father to funnel money to his buddy Usama to help him train, recruit, and arm the Bush/UBL army which would eventually take over the area. Of course, what Osama didn't know was that GW was just using him as a pawn for greater things.
Once he got in office, GW and Osama orchestrated the attacks on the WTC. GW promised Osama would get a lot of press, but GW assured that Osama would get out of the country safely. This was GW's plan since early childhood. He could now use this "terrorist" attack to take over a few countries in the middle east, control their oil, put his buddies in charge of everything, and obvioulsy have them pay him back with kickbacks, and the blood of puppy dogs, and force aborted fetuses of minorities.
When a few little army people got out of hand and started to turn public opinion against him, he realized he needed to act fast to ensure that he would still have support to take over the entire middle east. What better way than to have the CIA pretend to be terrorists and kill some civilians, and swing public opinion back towards him.
It's really simple.
