What's the deal with him? Has the US charged him with anything? or the UN or whoever? We captured him months ago, but if he hasn't been charged, then why is he still being held?

I believe the problem is that some want him before a tribunal while others want iraq to deal with him. They wanna charge him with crimes against humanity and their main charge will be the gassing of the kurds over a decade ago but all this takes time.
