ny times has a sports section
Sports section it has but to read the fuckin thing you need to spread it out on a table like a fuckin war room map.
you dont know the proper folding technique for the times? rookie!
I fucking tried but I always get the crooked fold and my paper ends up all skewed or torn.
I finished the book.
It sucked.
I just started reading the DaVinci Code. Only about 30 pages in so far. My neighbor raved about it, which is why I have it now.
On the flip side, I just finished my son's summer reading (to make sure that I know what it's about so I can make sure he read it). "The Face On the Milk Carton" -- not bad...had to buy the other 3 books in the series to find out how it ended though.
Tom Hanks is going to star in the Davinci Code movie.
people that read adult books tend to be interested sometimes.
Is he playing DaVinci or the Code?
I'm interested and I did read it, it's the way you posted it.
I posted that before reading gooch's addition, it woulda been nice to add some more info like who would be directing it, is it in production, pre production, is it coming out this year, next year, in 10 years.
Tom Hanks will star.... really doesn't deserve more than an "ok"
the casting of this movie has been talked about (maybe not on this board) a lot and who the star was going to be was a very big discussion. Ron Howard signed on a while ago to direct and people were thinking Russell Crowe might have gotten the lead b/c of Beautiful Mind.
personally, I liked Digital Fortress and Deception Point better than DaVinci Code. Angels & Demons isn't bad either, though Mr. Brown's flights of fancy sometimes goes a bit too far.
Now, if they were going to make Michael Connelley's THE POET...now that would be awesome.
If anyone like Fantasy/Sci Fi:
Steven Erikson's GARDENS OF THE MOON is terrific. Platoon meets Tolkein, with a sprinkling of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels type humor.
I didn't read Deception Point.
Angels and Demons was a better book until the ending, when it got real hokey.
So I think DaVinci was the best all the way through (but it was the first one I read)
Digital Fortress wasn't that compelling in my view.
I completely agree with you on Angels & Demons.
Deception Point, I think, you'd probably like. less "far out".
Well is hanks the final choice? Cause in all honesty while a great actor I dont think he's a good choice for the part.
yeah, it's done.
I think it should have been John Cusak
