How can they offer any proof. Anything that a person comes back in time and does or predicts could cause a cataclysmic event. That doesn't mean that it's physically impossible to do, just that anyone who did travel in time would have no free will.
I am not Bishop from X men so i can't answer all of your questions.
It is actually possible to travel into the future using Einsteins theory of relativity. Which in a nut shell says the faster you travel the slower time is for you. so you could possibly travel fast enough that time almost stops for you and goes very fast for everyone else.
yes, but that theory only applies when things travel in relation to the speed of light. But you'd need infinite power to move an item of mass at that speed.
It's gotta be with wormholes and other such nonsense. I don't really know. I'm sure DIG and his Star Trek collection could shed some light on the subject.

no you could use a reactionary ion drive to slowly build up speed close to the speed of light. The japs are/have built one. But there are plenty of models and and designs that may work.
this is what i truly love about this place. an insult turns into a scientific discussion , and then turns back into insults.
And I think it's easier to assume that travelling into the future is possible but not the past because anything that could happen could ruin the planet. Unless there's like a Sliders/Biff with the book 1955 alternate reality type of thing.
Oh, OK that explains everything.
it better or else darth vader will come down from planet vulcan and melt your brain.
I think arpi deserves a round of applause for this thread.
he hasn't told us what he did tho.
It doesnt matter what he did at this point, no matter what he says it will never live up to the hype.
It's better to never know, it keeps the mystery alive.
I think they actually have measured time differences between clocks on a rocket or the space shuttle and the ground. Very small differnces like billionths of a second or so. I put on my Spock ears while writing this post just for kicks.
But the same could be said for a clock on the ground vs a clock on the top of a tower. Gravity and all. I think anyway
he won the bridge tournament down at the rec center.
He finally had sex with the girl on the 7th floor.
