Actually, I agree with the majority of Galt's stances, which is why his constant defense of Bush is so dissapointing to me. Velociti is just a Hannity wannabe.

The guy cannot speak. He's not a bright person. He is a figurehead. I've never said anything different. I will not vote for him. I wish he were not president. My "defending" Bush has been nothing more than saying that the press decides what they want to focus on, and that's what they focus on. The press hasn't focused on various lies that I'm sure Bush has told like they did with Clinton. They haven't focused on him with women. They haven't dug for information further showing that he's a lying scumbag womanizer like they did with Clinton.

That's my only point. They decide that Bush is an idiot and so that's what they show. I'm sure there were times (much less frequent) when Clinton misspoke, but it wasn't news becuase it didn't further purpetuate a stereotype that the press had already been saying.

This contention that I'm some in the bag republican is just wrong. I've probably voted for republican governers/senators/presidents 5 times in my life. Now, I've never voted for a democrat, but it's just not true that I'm some wild Bush supporter. I didn't vote for him in 2000. I'm not going to vote for him in 2004

cite your source. Show me one thread where I talked about how smart Bush is, or said that he wasn't a horrible speaker or how great a president he is, or how I ever said I had, or would vote for him. Find one.

It's easy to just claim that I said something that I never said. As soon as anyone asks to prove your contentions, you just refuse. Everything is documented. I've never spoken to you on any medium outside of this board. Show me where I said anything even closely resembling what you claim. You can't. It's so transparent.

The only thing even remotely supporting Bush was saying that if I were forced to vote between Bush or Kerry, I'd vote for Bush. I despise Kerry. Bush is an idiot, but the people around him make the decisions and I'd rather have them than Kerry.
