Quote:NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Mets placed Jose Reyes on the disabled list Friday night after an MRI revealed a stress fracture of his left fibula, the latest setback for the promising Dominican infielder.

Howe's "they need to learn to play thru pain" mantra is really working out well for the team!
jesus.
to all the "I'd rather have reyes than soriano he's 20 and soriano is 26" people, told you!!!!

yeah and reyes cant get over a leg injury for over a year now, he's fine china.
i'd still rather have reyes.
this is why you are a fool.
you cant really mean that.
the mets need another guy who strikes out alot and has a low obp, and won't listen to coaches?
makes a lot of errors too
oh, my bad. you are right.
what good is he if he never plays, hed?
his hamstring is better and he's been playing fine until he brock his fibula, and didn't that only happen because of that freak play where he went to dive head first and stopped? (could be wrong, but thats where i thought he hurt it)
the idea of reyes and wright playing next to each other for the next 10-15 years is exciting to me, and if they're going to break it up there better be a damn good reason. its obvious matsui will eventually be moved to second.

its a shame ricky henderson is such a nutjob sometimes, he'd make a good coach for someone like reyes. remember what he did for roger cedeno in 1999?
i cant get excited about a guy that never plays and is so fragile.
brittle ass baseball players they should take some Oscal with their steroids.

only if wright brings a deck of cards to the trainers room.
