it's great racket those religous people have.
God exists despite no evidence, your acceptance of that is only a stronger sign of your faith.
God and heaven can't be comprehended or explained. Don't bother trying. God is great. Heaven is perfect. There's a book that someone wrote ages ago that proves all of this is 100% true. By the way, Greek mythology is just ridiculous. How could anyone actually believe that?
God is awesome and loves all his people, but if you if you fuck up during your x years on the planet, you get sent to hell forever and ever and ever and there's no way you can ever get out. If you repent before you die, then you're OK. But as soon as you're dead, then you're totally hopeless.
The bible is the word of God. Somehow his exact word lasted, verbaim for thousands of years after Moses and hundreds of years after Jesus before anyone started to actually write anything down. God is infallible. Ignore the fact that there are contradictions to both science and itself in the bible.
The bible says nothing nor does it imply anything about Earth being the only place on the universe that's inhabited, yet religious folk are so self-important that they hold steadfast to the belief that some magical God just said "poof" let's put people on this little speck of dust in the universe. No where else. Just here.
When good things happen; it's because God cares and specifically is answering your prayers or helping you out. Whenever anything else happens, it's your fault, or he can't do everything, or it's a learning experience, or some other bullshit. But rest assured, it's all part of God's plan. He gets credit for the good shit; no blame for the bad.
