i never saw mallrats, I thought Dogma was funny as hell.

my judgement is clouded by the novelty factor of him being from the same area i grew up in.

It's not as bad as stallones proposed Rocky 6.

clerks...bad acting at points. good acting in others. great script. jeff andersen was awesome in it.

Malltars : other than jason lee, mallrats had the worst cast and acting (that London character, forlani). if it werent for jason lee, who makes that movie a classic in my mind, im almost sure i would hate it.

Chasing Amy : affleck doesnt bother me in this. good story, a lot of good moments with some pretty good acting.

Dogma : his smartest movie, even with all the dick jokes. Best cast (barely beats JSBSB with Will Ferrell). i like how it took subjects that were normally serious to most and was able to make jokes about them without making fun of them....i worded that terribly.

JSBSB : moves along really well. jason mewes was really funny. will ferrell. stupidest movie he made but still really funny.

Jersey Girl : havent seen it yet....not really sure if i want to.

Oh god i hope that never gets released. it was bad enough that they made a 5th rocky 14 years ago.

Bad idea, i have little faith in him to actually make this work without it being his most obnoxious, repetetive movie to date. All the films he's made with the main character actors(Lee, Affleck, Adams, Mewes) were ok, just ok...nothing to write home about., so i can't imagine this being any better.

For me, i notice that nothing really makes the movie watchable except for the "stand out" character, which is pretty much always the best friend role.


Also, Dogma sucked.

i really hate how everyone always says that dogma was the best. i really didn't enjoy it the first time. i guess it has gotten less annoying. but as an athiest, i really just don't give a crap about any of that shit.

i hate when there are rambling monologues and speeches, and in both of those movies its more like kevin smith is trying to show off he can use big words in his script and preach his point of view. whoopideedoo
