Ricky Henderson called the Red Sox clubhouse Thursday looking for tickets for Saturday's sixth game. Told there was no game, Henderson asked, "Why?"
that hall-of-famer is a dumb faggot
i have a rickey autographed baseball in my glove box. got it at a newark bears game. he got thrown out twice trying to steal.
It really is sad how he seemingly went out to purposely make not just his team but the fans hate him. The numbers don't lie, it can be debated if he played for the love of the game or the love of the rickey and his numbers but the numbers are there. He is one of the greatest of all times but strictly by the stats, he will unfortunatly fall by the wayside in the coming years because of his attitude over the years and that he was basically a nomad in the league.
greatest lead off hitter in the history of the game, arguably. also possibly the most selfish player ever.
11 time all star
former MVP
All Time Runs Leader
All time Stolen Base Leader
3rd in times on base
2nd in career walks
20th In Hits
31st In Total Bases
The numbers are pure HOF numbers but his most impressive number is the amount of times he was traded in spite of the numbers.
i heard in his last contract with oakland he asked for the right to make all life and death decisions for everyone living within 5 miles of the stadium.
