Had Kerry offered one iota detail of his "plan" that was going to magically create new jobs, capture bin ladin, pay down the debt, save social security, fully arm our troops, get the allies to commit to supporting our war efforts, and fix our intelligence, this would be a blowout for him.

The only reason its so close and Bush is lookin like hes gonna pull it out, is because Kerry ran probably the worst campaign in history.

Bush basically said and did nothing and wasn't pushed to defend his term and kerry didnt lay out anything in simple terms.
This election looked like a no brainer several months ago, it didnt matter who the dems nominated short of al sharpton, anyone coulda beat Bush.

Here in Sweden reader polls showing 75% wanted Kerry to win have been replaced by warnings to motorists to beware of leaping pedestrians. As a Brit would have loved to have seen the BBC coverage with Michael Moron, Gore Vidal and Sidney Blumenthal.
