I loved the SNL best of will ferrel, it was hilarious, naturally. Ofcourse there was so much more that coulda been put in, so they came out with a Volume 2 and I had to pick it up and I watched it today... fuckin horrible. There's no harey carrey, no jeopardy, none of the real classics that he did. There were a couple gems but too many sub par sketches.
highly disappointed.
Will Ferrel is not funny.
Okay, sometimes he is, but he's far from a comedic genius.
Well you're entitled to your own opinion, naturally you do so many sketches not all of them can be funny. Even eddie murphy, belushi, murray, everyone had bad sketches over the number of years they were on. What disappointed me was that they had to pick and choose to narrow down an hours worth of his skits and half of them were not his best or even good at all, on the other hand he had soooo many brilliant skits that you'd figure it'd be no problem to pack the dvds.
they couldn't have made a best of norm mcdonald instead. noooooo
They had a best of christopher walken and he wasn't even a cast member, I agree on the Norm, they have a best of molly fuckin shannon.
did volume 2 have "get off the shed"?
That's always been my favorite skit of his. And I think it was his first skit on SNL
im a big fan of the sketch with his lover where they talk dirty to each other, i believe the chick is rachel dretch. they're an old creepy couple that cant keep their hands off each other.
They had the lovah skits on both vol 1 and 2.
The one on Vol. 1 was the best, it was the one where they were in the hot tub with drew barrymore and jimmy fallon. What trully made it so funny was naturally will but the fact that no one in the sketch could keep from laughing, even will who almost never cracked up was really having trouble keeping his cool.
The one on vol. 2 was ok but not a really good one.
Neither one had my favorite Harrey Carry with Colin Quinn on weekend update with the infamous "hey norm, did you gain weight?" comment after colin took over for Norm on weekend update.
