I just realized that I quoted the wrong person but i think this came out better.
haha
I just lost another $60 and promptly asked to have my checking account deleted from the site. hopefully that'll work since at this rate I'd be out of money by the end of the month. No more betting without buffer zones.
I CAN LIVE LIKE A KING MAKING $30K! So long as I don't go anywhere, or do anything, or lose at gambling.
in theory
I lost $70 on their blackjack game ($30 of which was free) before uninstalling it. I've always been skeptical about that online stuff, but my friend got up a lot so I figured I'd bet at most $2 a hand and see how it goes. I wish I'd actually kept stats on it, but I'd estimate 18 of every 20 times the dealer had a 10 there was another one underneath it, and 19 of every 20 times I had a 12-16 the NEXT CARD would be a bust card. Rarely would I even get to a 4th card. Plus, they only let you split once, which is pure crap.
The sports part of sportsbook.com is great though. 5% juice every Friday, free $10 bets every so often. I suggest just uninstalling the blackjack software to eliminate any potential urges.
damn, i didn't know you can uninstall that. i took the more drastic route. yea, i was up a lot but it was a bit frustarting how often they had 10s under non bust cards.
and i ALWAYS busted when i hit on 12.
on a sidenote: i attempted to deposit money using my credit card today but i needed to call up a number to put the money through. so i didn't bother. ahhhh buffer zones!
You do realize that everyone on this board is less than 90 mins away from a casino, right?
what casino is 90 minutes from me?

If most people from this board are from Jersey/NYC/Conn/etc... it's either Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, or AC.

Not sure where you're from Sleeper, so if you're not from the tri-state...
I am from queens, I already pointed out that AC was 2.5-3 hours away. how far are foxwoods/mohegan sun

90 mins, I'm guessing. Mohegan/Foxwoods constantly hawk the fact they are closer to NYC than AC.

I never understood online gambling... most of the fun is the free drinks, the people watching, and the general feel of it doing it "live".
yea thanks for stating the obvious
you are better at sports investing than you are at gambling.
or sports betting in general
You could make a lot of money if you could round up some investors and buy the Montreal Expos and move them to Vegas.

You should hop on that.
SLEEPER: AC IS CLOSER TO YOU IF YOU LIVE IN SOUTH JERSEY

i know it takes one hour and 24 minutes to get to the bridgeport ferry from mohegan sun, foxwoods is a bit further. ny city is about an hour and a half from bridgeport, i would say AC and the conn casinos are about an equal distance away from the city.

as for on line gambling, i was playing carribian stud poker on golden palace and i hit a royal flush and won over 300 thousand dollars. i was so very excited, i started to pee all over my girlfriend, the site would only let me take out 4000 at a time, which i thought was great, it would give me a nice second income for awhile. i started buying new expensive things, i was loving life. i then started playing the 1000 dollar a hand tables since i had so much money in my account, i then proceeded to lose every single dime of the 300,000.
