The start of boredplanet out of YMB was very similar to the start of CDIH out of OA.com. Except instead of recruiting the best posters (like CDIH did), it recruited the worst. Much like CDIH initially, it was a place to vent and complain about "the other place". Much like CDIH it was closed to the public. The difference is that when Sean, Seph, posted at CDIH and talked shit about Froy, they did it after leaving OA.com. The difference was also that when CDIH was started, Froy was publicly invite to join if he so felt. They weren't pretending to be all buddy buddy with Froy and then talking shit about him. Those who were are assholes. That's what the boredplanet folks were doing. Talking shit about someone while still posting on that board, pretending to be all buddy buddy, taking mod positions when they had no respect for the guy. It was just real shitty.
And to claim it was merely your fault becuase it was your site is bullshit. You were recruiting specific people. The facts of who knews about the site and when and who conveniently didn't is also no a coicidence. You wanted to be able to talk shit to a bunch of people you knew would agree with you without having to worry about anyone coming in and being a dissenting voice.
And if you respect me and Keyser and DIG so much, why did you ban us so much? I've been banned twice. I'm sure Keyser's been banned.
nobody was recruited. some were invited to test out things back in June. Rooner invited Header & Topper. Some friends of ours, who could be trusted since we didn't want word out on it until we were ready, joined and posted. And then it ran from there. We expended b/c wanted people to post and test things out. We changed the site software several times. We made modifications. Towards mid-August, I wanted a Sept official roll-out, even if we weren't finished on things I wanted, b/c it was dragging...and my youngest brother would be back at school and able to help code changes. By the end of August, word was out b/c Laz trolled SaveOA and saw the site, at the same time...Amy discovered the site as well...and then people started talking.
I had no issue with you being on the site..but if you were there to bash other members, not even to take part elsewhere, it wasn't going to fly. I let you come in the 2nd time, you read and read, then did the same shit again. Sorry, not what I want there.

the software seemed to work fine when hottie sent her idiots over to spam alkeys site.

i thought that whole thing was silly, but if you think it had anything to do with the making BP, you are fooling yourself. BP was already in gear as an idea when Hottie was here in April. I know many, including Alkeys other mods at the time, had an issue with it. But, you are completely wrong when you say it was for that reason. I am sure you'd like it to be that since you like to make things black and white....good vs bad, etc etc.

the issue, i think..was about being one way towards regular posters, and when some CDIHers came around..it was allowed to be a bashfest. That was my issue...b/c it was either one way or another...and even if i cited the issue, I never left YMB during that time. In fact, I posted on YMB and CDIH all summer long. Whether I make a site or not, in a community where many have all sorts of boards, I don't think is the issue at heart. It is that Alkey's mods posted on BP more regularly, and had some issues with them and YMB. If you ask Hottie, Flock, 460 or any other mod on YMB...I have always been consistent that they should bring up their issues to Alkey and hash them out. I cited this time and time again over months and months from Feb thru the summer. I didn't feel it was my responsibility to do anymore than recommend. Anyone who had a conversation with me over it can attest that I had the same mantra during those days..and that was to take up their issues with Alkey.

none of these arguments seem like anything so important as to spend so much time debating about, except to have a reason to post on the internet. It just seems like everyone starts some spin-ffo messageboard because someone doesn't like this person, but this person still likes this person, but then this person doesn't like this person, so they start another board so that they can talk to this person and this person, knowing that the other person won't come, won't read, won't post, blah blah blah.

keeping it a secret but then being smug enough to come back to ymb to spam it is along the same levels of what you've accused laz of being. pretty underhanded.

at least with CDIH, as its already been said, froy was invited to come and defend himself. theres no chance of that on your site. the misfit toys of YMB are safely tucked away without any chance of the big bad wolves coming to ruin their pity party.

the site was started as what i said it was. what is was used for, rightly or wrongly, was to spout off about ymb. it was a private site at first, but meant to be opened. it wasn't like Dummyschool, and a private community. Was some who went, including hottie, at the beginning of june, had issues with YMB. obviously. did i have some issues there...obviously b/c i posted that i did on YMB. My intention was to make a non-OA site that would be a place to hang and post at work. Simple as that...and that, from beginning to now, has been completely consistent. I have as many SOA people as I do from YMB. It is a small site, and it does what it does.

I take responsiblity, then, and it seems now, that I made some poor choices. But I can have people believe that I am being honest in my answers, intentions and so forth...or not. I was a CDIH regular as well as a YMB regular. As it has now been exposed, Alkey was not where I got the boardplanet link from, nor did he have a clue I was posting there.
The problem is that senless idiot broad you work that site with. She will freely shit on whoever she wants, and act more arrogant and more pissy than anyone ever accused me of being, but as soon as someone calls her to task on anything, she just up and bans/deletes/edits posts.

100%. I am an evil man. This is all based on what I said on BP, including me about Silera specifically, and not any of Alkey's mods at the time. I badmouthed them to the ends of the earth. Most of my posts there were me actually badmouthing YMB, Alkey and anyone else I could think of. And then I was two-faced, b/c I denied doing these things. I had nothing better to do that entire summer but to recruit my great YMB crew, talk about other people, and would have got away with it except for those pesky people who got pissed off.
