They were filming a movie by my school like 10 yeas ago. When I saw the trailers parked by my school and already I knew a movie was being filmed but I dodn't know who was in it. Anyway, the next day at lunch while I was by my locker with some friends, some of my friends started running up to me saying they had met Jonathan Brandis from SeaQuest and that he was filming with his girlfriend, Tatyana Ali from the Fresh Prince of Belair.
Anyway, I tore down the stairs to go to the trailers but then the bell rang so I decided I would get the 2 of them the next day. Well, the next day, I brought a camera and a YM magazine with Jonathan Brandis on the cover.
During lunch, me and my friends snuck over to the trailers as our principal had told everyone to stay away. We talked to the security and found out they were getting their hair and make-up done and we might not get to see. We did, but only through their trailer window. So, determined, I gave my camera to the security and asked him to take pictures if possible and that I'd come back after school to get it. After school, i was told that the 2 stars were in a hurry to get back to the set and so he wasn't able to get pictures. He said if I gave him my magazine, he would get it to Jonathan Brandis to sign and he would return it to me the next day. So I gave it and me and my friends stood by the trailers, undecided on what to do.
Then, Tatyana Ali came out of her trailer right in front of us. The security lied! Anyway, we were going to rush up to get pics and autographs but she looked really cranky so we stayed back. She walked towards her hairdresser and make-up artist and started talking to them. Then the security guard who had my mag showed it to her, and instantly she was all happy and cheery again. She then said something to the security and he walked over to us, saying that Tatyana wanted to talk to me! I came over with the security while all my friends looked with envy and I spoke to Tatayana for about 10 min., getting a pic with her, her autograph, some details about her relationship with Jonathan Brandis and she loved my magazine so much, she photocopied the article on Jonathan Brandis! After that encounter, I was still lusting to meet Jonathan Brandis. So me and my friends, who were extremely mad, walked to the set 3 blocks away where we waited for about an hour and a half. Then he came out and got pictures with us, signed autographs, and talked to us. He and his girlfriend were so sweet and I'll never ever forget my encounter with the 2 of them and I'll have my autographs and pictures to remind me always!
