I think I'm afraid of doing well... people constantly tell me my artwork is good but I'm lackluster in the effort I put into it, even though I want to make my living with my art.. I think I'm afraid of succeeding.

magus, if you're sig is indicative of your "lackluster" efforts, don't fool yourself. you can certainly make money doing that stuff. if in doubt, just get the art school of america's application from the back of a matchbook. i never thought i'd ever go anyplace with my designs, but i ended up placing second in an international competition for a museum in california. it helps the ego boost a bit. success is addictive.
