Bottom line, the Federal Government is and has been violating our civil rights all under the guise of 'protecting us'. The War on terror is just like all the other useless War on drugs, Poverty, etc... a complete and total waste of money or as some have called it White Welfare.

i think in order to be one step ahead of terrorists there needs to be some power given to our intelligence agencies to allow them to prevent things from happening. its a fine line between protecting ourselves and losing our freedoms. i could say, well i'm not doing anything illegal, what the fuck do i care if i'm being spied on? on the otherhand, the people who founded this country were very careful about not giving too much power to the government for a reason. its a tough call, i'm still not sure how i feel about it, i think theres got to be a good compromise in there somewhere.
