- Maynard - 04-15-2002

I like the toothless welfare crack babies that frequent White Castle. MmMmmmmmmm. Nothing like a good gummer.

Your place, uh I mean your friends place. If she doesn't do you, uh I mean your friend on the first date, it saves you a ton of money down the stretch. If she does do you, um I mean your friend, then spend at will. {Big Grin}

Amanda's on Washington street. Romantic, reasonably priced, Da Vinci is good as well but kinda small.

Take her to either one and if its still nice tonight head over to the Frank Sinatra Cafe right off the water overlooking the skyline by the new River Street apartment building.

- JIMMYSNUKA - 04-15-2002

yeah anything by the river would be great. easier to dump the body

Maxwell's is a pretty cool place to go for music/food. A lot of local unsigned bands play there too. I was just there this past Saturday night, had a pretty good time (the food was great, too). It's also within walking distance of some very cool bars to hang in afterwards.

If you want to see live bands I can roll off a ton of places in hoboken you can go. Liberty Bar & Grill, Willie McBrides, Love Sexy, Ristra, Scotland Yard, Whiskey Bar, Green Rock Tap & Grill to name a few.

Romantic: Amanda's ($$$)
Cheaper than Amanda's: Brass Rail
Good food, not too pricey: Tutta Pasta
Historic place with good seafood: Clam Broth House
Live band: Whiskey Bar, Cadillac Bar (do they have food there?)
Malaysian: Satay (I love this place...but probably not a good 1st date)
Indian: Karma Cafe (If they are wierd hippie people)

I've lived in Hoboken for 5 years, so if you want my advice, I'd go with Tutta Pasta
It's not too romantic for a first date, but really decent

- Sephiroth - 04-15-2002

Fuck Hoboken, take her to Six Flags!

- OAS - 04-16-2002

So DGW, did you, I mean your friend get lucky, I mean how did the date go?

- DGW - 04-16-2002

He ended up going to a mexican joint called East LA. She actually made the decision. He thinks the date was a success. No lulls in the conversation and she was laughing the whole night. She asked him back to her apt and he was there for about 15 minutes before her roomie came home. He didn't get any stink finger, just a kiss goodnight, but he asked if she'd like top go out again and she said yes.

- Keyser Soze - 04-16-2002

Nice choice, I love mexican food. Sounds like your 'friend' had a good time, well done.

- DGW - 04-16-2002

Really it wasn't me. I was with a bunch of sweaty guys.....that does not sound good.....softball you deeks.

- Keyser Soze - 04-16-2002

So basically you were no help then?

- DGW - 04-16-2002

Exactly.

- OAS - 04-16-2002

The fact that she agreed to see your "friend" again convinced me that it wasn't you.
:roflmao:

- DGW - 04-16-2002

Bah! I would have bagged her.
