My favorite thing about high boots is when you have them on under jeans and when you sit down and yank the leg of the jeans up because you want to adjust the boot or whatever, anyone around you who sees the normal shoes become knee highs looks at you totally differently then they did a moment before.

I have those boots too VG :-) I love my Steve Maddens...I think I own like 30 pairs of his Damn shoes.
I prefer no shoes, and always wear sandals in the summer...but in the winter on LONG school/work days, its my Pumas or Nikes, and otherwise its one of my many pairs of boots or shoes, depending on what kind of clothing mood I'm in.
