- Skitchr4u - 12-10-2002 ssx did indeed rule all...until tricky came out, which completely blows it out of hte water... and tony 4 is a good game...fucking awesome might be a slight overstatement...vice city on the other hand, is fucking insanely awesome - kindred - 12-10-2002 I loved Max Payne! But, I also had a walkthrough that helped tremendously in the game. I know I enjoyed the game more because of the walkthrough. Welcome to the world of Vice City Anonymous. After you get your memory card, you will become incredibly addicted and live, drink, and sleep for Vice City. As for other games, I've rented a few but haven't been too thrilled with them. I wasn't thrilled with Hitman 2, but I don't think I gave it too much of a chance either. Gran Turismo was a let down too. I've heard the Lord Of The Rings II game is supposed to be cool. I haven't seen it yet, but it got good reviews from what I saw. I'm not into the sports games, so I'm no help there. Has anyone tried the new Star Wars Bounty Hunter game?? One more...you MUST run out and buy this one immediately.. MUST HAVE! Edited By kindred on 1039546664 - Skitchr4u - 12-10-2002 kindred, i picked up bounty hunter over the weeekend and finally sat down to play last night...game is a lot of fun, and the graphics are insane...definately a gameto get into...but like you said, i am addicted to vice city, and its hard not to play that all the time - Mad - 12-10-2002 Kindred to bad you couldn't do some Vice City actions in MK&A License to Drive. ;-) The fun one could have. :fucking: - Danked - 12-10-2002 Does anyone recommend Hitman 2 for PS2? I've tried both the PS2 and PC demos and the PC version had much crisper graphics and colors and the controls were easier to handle. Were there any improvements in the final version for PS2 since the demo? - LZMF1 - 12-10-2002 <div align="center"> ![]() kindred, please tell me that you're kidding. - kindred - 12-10-2002 Quote:Kindred to bad you couldn't do some Vice City actions in MK&A License to Drive. Drive by shooting with Mary Kate and Ashley in an Infernus... Yes, LZ...I'm kidding... - Mad - 12-10-2002 I'd have them working the streets or in the strip club. Save the drive by or beat down for when they are toothless and crack haggard. :burnfucker: - kindred - 12-10-2002 I'd hire them for my Pole Position Club...have them up and dancing on my tables, offereing treats in the back room... Endless possibilities!! - LZMF1 - 12-10-2002 hey kindred, what about this game? ![]() britney would work well in pole position club. - kindred - 12-10-2002 I already have that game, LZ! You know that...You borrowed it three weeks ago and still haven't given it back!!! :moonie: - LZMF1 - 12-10-2002 errrrrr........ummmmmmm........ nope, wasn't me. (i may have to buy you another copy and get myself another controller......they're both kinda.......sticky) - LyricalGomez - 12-10-2002 Danked, get the PC version, there is too much precise shooting in Hitman 2 that is made even harder with the ps2 controller, having the controll of a mouse for aiming makes the game alot more enjoyable. Oh, and the game based on The Two Towers is insane, a little short from what I hear, but the graphics are amazing, plus they got the actual actors to do the voices. I played it for about half an hour in EB and immediatlly plunked down the cash to buy the game. - Mad - 12-11-2002 Are Monster cables really worth the extra money for the PS2? Right now I'm using a Sony S video component cable and it's a big improvement over the given cable. Are Monsters really better and would I see a difference? - Skitchr4u - 12-11-2002 my question i think is similar to mad's...i finally have a good tv to hook up my ps2 into...should i use the coaxial cable, or run it through the other cables to the tv...will i notice a difference in graphics? - Goatweed - 12-11-2002 If you can use cable other than coax, you should see a better picture. The hierarchy is Component Cables > S-Video cable > Coax. Most tv sets today offer an S-Vid input as well as coax, and most HDTV-ready sets come with component inputs (not all, but most - they're labelled Yr, Yb, and one other oen that escapes me at the moment). The bottom line - anything is better than coax. As for Monster Cables being the best, I think thats bullshit. I have read many reviews and opinions that the same cables that Radio Shack sells work just as good and for a lot less $$. Also lately, Monster Cables have been problematic for people so I don't know if it's just a bad batch or they really do suck. I use a Monster Power center/surge protector for my home theater, but it came highly recommended by a lot of people and it's never given me any trouble (it actually solved a few small problems I was having), but I don't nor ever have used their video cables. I use the MS HiDef pack for my X-Box (I don't have a PS2, but I hope to get one soon) and it works flawlessly on my HDTV - plus I use a Radio Shack Optical Cable to take advantage of the Dolby 5.1 surround sound, which also works flawlessly. Doesn't Sony make their own video cables? I would use theirs before I use a third party's anyway, to be honest. - Skitchr4u - 12-11-2002 thanks goat, i think i followed enough of that to use the sony cables and ditch the coax connection... |
