Yes Luna, we are animals. And most animals act on a more primal instinct. But what about those animals that mate for life? Isn't it possible that there are humans that are this was also?
Sure...everyone likes a good hard fuckin once in awhile. But who says you can't have love with that? I do agree that it has alot to do with personality and conditioning. If your parents program you a certain way, you're more likely to act that way. But there are exceptions to everything.

The rest of the pack helps rear the litter and ensure the survival of the pack. There are also alot of other mammals that have one mate for life: certain species of sea mammals and even some eagles.

I'm just afraid that I'm part of a dying breed. With kids learning most of their morals, and life lessons through TV and the internet now a days, will kids in the future even know what love is? Or is the human race going to be reduced to just procreating to survive?

Well, wait a minute here......humans are one of the species on this planet that lives the longest. Compare most furry 4 footed mammals to a human mammal. Humans as infants are the most helpless of creatures for the longest period of time. They take longer to mature.
