I'd love to see the pics. I could see myself trying to find the firehouse, too. I really loved that show, and I learned a lot from watching it. I think I cancelled my Columbia House membership, but I'm sure if they have them, so does Amazon. I'll have to check.

I met Gary Carter during the '86 playoffs. Nicest guy in the world. Real gracious and friendly.
I've also met people before fame came a knocking. Does that count?
And one day I hope to meet the infamous "Gonzo Style" that will be a real treat. I'll give him a quarter.

I drove past James Gandolphini as he was walking into a restaurant with a lady friend... twice.
The second time was when I turned around to make sure it was him. He kind of saw me and rushed his date inside. :-(
But no, I never really met him. I did meet Steve Forbes when he came into my coffeeshop. He ordered a mochachino.

i met Vince McMahon, shook his hand and wished him luck on the XFL. (Hmmm...maybe that was jinxing him.)
Met Jesse Jackson, though some won't think much of him, the man walked with a presence and confidence I had never seen before or seen since.
Boris Becker, Todd Betruzzi, Regis & Kathy Lee, Joan Rivers, Martha Stewart, David Ducovney, Al Sharpton, Larry King, Eddie George, Joaquin Phoenix, Billy Joel & Christie Brinkley...are some others I have met.
Most memorable was meeting Quentin Tarantino at Fiddlesticks and entering him in our ongoing at-work debate of which movie was better, Star Wars or Jaws.
Quentin is a Jaws man.

The Squad has been inducted into the Petersen Auto Museum in West Hollywood. I didn't get to sit behind the wheel of the Squad but Randy was cool enough to take a pic with me in front of it. Met his girfriend(now wife)I have a pic of me in the actual Squad 51 they are using today out at Universal studios, and a pic of me standing in front of the original Engine 51 from the show. (The one with the open cab) It's marked as 60 cause it was the Universal Studios engine, they just put decals over it. Funny you should mention FDNY-EMS my brother is a Paramedic with them and I dispatch Fire Trucks for FDNY.
