make the most of having the luxury of no mortgage, rent, utilities, etc and spend every waking hour trying to find a job that can support you to live on your own.
yes its hard out there, yes the job market is difficult, but you have the benefit of a roof over your head and support from your parents, make that work for you and allow you to get out on your own as soon as possible.

We have a client at work who is in her 60s and never married, and had always lived with her brother (also 60s and never married). I think that's just as bad, if not worse.

They'll be plenty of time. I was going to make an offiical annoucement later, but it has been unofficialy decided that I'm moving to Manhattan in June after I graduate and come back from vacation.

... I lived on my own for 4 years up at school in Buffalo, 2 years in the dorms, and 2 at an apartment... I graduated back in May and have been living home since. I have been hesitant to move out because I first needed a stable income, which I now have, but I also do not want to sign onto a lease if I decide to go on to graduate school.

I lived at home until I got married, and that was only a year and a half ago. Sure, it sucks to still be at home but the $$ you save on rent alone is a plus. Don't worry about it, savor it and save that $$.
