- Kid Afrika - 10-18-2003 Quote:*side note - Hey Jack!!!111!!1 Make this board more Mozilla friendly.*side reply - GET A MORE INTERNET FRIENDLY BROWSER!!!!! It is not up to developers to cater to the 10% of the world that doesn't use IE. Get it out of your small li'l brain. - diceisgod - 10-18-2003 So far so good. They let me buy 8 of them online, but the final confirmation page said something like: all orders exceeding limit will be cancelled. There was no limit posted that i seen and the little scroll down box they had to pick the number of tickets you wanted went well over 20. So I don't know that there was a limit if they'll let you buy that many tickets. Either that or they just like fucking with people and leading them to believe they can buy as many as they want only to tell them later that they cancelled the order. It's very stressful buying tickets on that site. You don't have time to review all the information they give on the order forms you have to fill out. They tell you at the top of each page that you have 2 minutes or one minute to complete this or you'll lose your place in line. - Danked - 10-18-2003 There's a line? - diceisgod - 10-18-2003 Yeah it's weird. Virtual line I guess. Before I even got to the point where i could buy tickets i was sitting on this one page that kept giving me updates about how long I had to wait. It said if I closed it i'd lose my place in line. The page was eratic anywa. It would tell me I have a ss than 5 minute wait and then 1 minute later it would tell me I have a 15 minute or greater wait, then 10 minutes, 2 minutes, etc. But overall I don't think I waited more than 10 minutes. Ticketmaster has a hard on from making people wait in lines even online. - Goatweed - 10-18-2003 so who from the board are you taking to see The King? - crx girl - 10-18-2003 we should have a contest! - diceisgod - 10-18-2003 Goatweed Wrote:so who from the board are you taking to see The King?Godlybillionaire will be there. - Rape Fantasizer - 10-21-2003 My mom owned a video store for years when I was younger and she had a ticketmaster machine. It was the greatest thing ever, I saw so many concerts within the 1st 10 rows. I advise anyone who wants tickets to something to do it online. A very large number of the places that have machines are planting people on their lines to buy them time to get the good tickets for brokers. Another good thing to do is wait til a few days before or even the day of the show. Ticketmaster puts lots of tickets aside for whoever is doing the show and 99% of the time they have leftovers that they release right before the show for the public and they're always really good seats. |
