- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 yet your debate buddy conceded Faux news was worthless due to their extreme partisanship in his last post... I own you. - Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006 why would i defend faux news? you seem to have very partisan views on what people will accept politically. the world is not black and white. - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 keyser, you come in and time after time try to reframe the argument and discussion..... it's annoying. - Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006 how have i reframed the argument? your assertion was that the administration tries to spin the leaking of intelligence. WOW BIG SURPRISE.....and now wants to administer lie detector tests to vet out the moles........then you're debate buddy changed the discussion to media outlets being the tool for the administration to drive the spin machine and the discussion evolved from there, and you actively participated in it, until you were painted into a corner. - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 you are wrong....on what my assertions are... try reading it again, dumbass. - Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006 Quote:when a covert agent and the shell company she was affiliated with, were outted by agents of the Administration for political purposes, the Republican spin machine cranked out the propaganda and the rubes ate it up....... are you all out of talking points now and are resorting to your familiar crutch of criticizing my posting? - Hoon - 02-08-2006 Ken is acting like Fox News is evil because it clearly holds a conservative slant. Any fool knows Fox news is right leaning. But in doing this he destroys his credibility by completely ignoring the fact that there are loads more left leaning news outlets who do the same thing, only they've done it far longer and out number Fox 3 to 1. My point to you, ken, is this. It's laughable to me that you only attack fox news for doing something you deem reprehensible and make no mention of the several outlets who are left leaning. Why? Because you don't want to kick the kool aide cart! This is the area where Keyser is calling you a hypocrite and he's right. - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 Keyser Soze Wrote:how have i reframed the argument? your assertion was that the administration tries to spin the leaking of intelligence. WOW BIG SURPRISE. sigh, dumbass, my point wasn't that the administration spins...... but that the rubes eat it up.... my intention was to shift focus onto Fox news and their compliance with the RNC... Mad (not being an idiot like yourself) understood where I was going and in the second post of the thread made the point for me.... you on the other hand keep trying to argue with me, but since you can't dispute my facts you are constantly trying to redefine my position, and then argue against your own creation..... jesus fucking christ, I keep trying to get past pointing out how lame you are, but you REFUSE to stop sucking. - Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006 nooooooooo, im reframing the arguement!!! - Hoon - 02-08-2006 .. and anyone who disagrees with Ken is an 'idiot'. DAMN THAT REPUBLICAN ATTACK MACHINE! - Luna - 02-08-2006 these pretzels are making me thirsty - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 Hoon Wrote:.. and anyone who disagrees with Ken is an 'idiot'. you might be onto something there. - Hoon - 02-08-2006 Lets take Fox and CNN for a moment. Both Fox and CNN's anchors are clearly biased both way. Fox-right, CNN-left. The difference is: 9 times out of 10 Fox has on 2 guests who hold opposing sides of the debate. Fox has on high ranking democratic strategists etc.. CNN on the other hand rarely adds a consertvative voice to the debate. Most times it's a one on one between the anchor and a guest. And most times that guest is anti-administration. Fox is conservative leaning but gives a voice to the left. CNN is a bitch fest. - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 your assertion is that CNN leans further to the left than Fox does to the right? yes or no? - Hoon - 02-08-2006 When it comes to offering a voice to the other side of the isle in debates? yes. When it comes to the anchor chair? no. But Fox offsets it with it's liberal guests. They tell you what they think 'and here's so and so to tell me why I'm wrong' CNN is basicly dictation. Eat it and like it, they say. - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 which is more slanted, period..... don't create artificial criterion...... - Hoon - 02-08-2006 That's like answering who won the superbowl and not citing the officiating. - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006 exactly..... just gimme the score, and no BS couching and excuses. - shortnfugly - 02-08-2006 luna - can I have one of those pretzels? I share my beer with you if you do.... - Hoon - 02-08-2006 Not all of us are content with the basics. Life is usually more complicated than that, with many mitigating factors. It's more than just getting in your car and driving. Sometimes you need to gas it up and change the oil. |
