The aloe works and so does the Noxema. I don't usually tan, I either turn a strange shade of yellow or RED. Also get that cooling spray they sell.

Mmmmm...I don't know about that, Bondgirl. My mom has been a sun worshipper all her life and she still gets very tan in the summers. She's in her early 50's and sometimes gets mistaken as being my sister. I think it's something in the genes.

Like jaundice looking yellow sometimes.....if I burn though I actually turn a light light tan...very rare....I'm breaking out the capris tomorrow and I'm trying the sunless tanner to see if I can get some color on the paste that I call skin.

I usually tan well. I get a rather gold color versus getting dark.

I say just leave the sunburn untreated and sit out in the sun with no lotion on at all.
