If people belived that that rock was the embodiment of some higher power than that person would belive that rock is their god. Why do catholics worship in front of a cross with jesus on it? That is nothing more than a figure of him right? Then by that it would be an idol. Just more resons orgainized religion is a crock of shit.

As a former catholic I have seen people pray to it, put figures of saints (whom they pray to) on thier dashboards among other places and what about the rosary? Explain how that came about genius.
