- Zootybang - 06-05-2003 Name one really great mandolin player. Go ahead, I'll wait. Thats why there arent many teachers. I play guitar, got a couple of Ibanez's and an awesome ESP. I fuckin' ROCK! - Arpikarhu - 06-05-2003 Quote:playing the dickens out of a guitar sounds really gay.sorry. i meant to say that i can play the guitar with kick ass ferocity! :5: - Danked - 06-05-2003 Quote:Name one really great mandolin player. Go ahead, I'll wait.I'll name two, sucka. Bill Monroe and David Grisman. You may go about the rest of your day now. - Arpikarhu - 06-05-2003 Quote:I play guitar, got a couple of Ibanez'snobody plays guitar with an ibanez. they are for poseurs - Danked - 06-05-2003 Hmmmmph. We certainly showed him. - Arpikarhu - 06-05-2003 he was barely worth our combined talents. it was like shooting an ant with a bazooka - Zootybang - 06-06-2003 OKay dickheads, now that you've used up your 3 combined braincells, allow me. Ibanez makes an outstanding product at an affordable price. Plus, with a little extra money, you can make them sound world-class. They have a super thin neck, so sissies like you can fit your little girly hands around them, most have a Floyd Rose tremelo, and you can beat the fuck out of them and they'll still sound great for years to come. You hand a poser a 2000 dollar Les Paul, and he's just a poser with an expensive guitar. It's what comes out of the guitar that makes you a poser or not. Now go listen to your trendy bands with their super cool Gretch's and Fender jaguars, and tomorrow you can look under the matress and behind the couch to see where they went, cause they wont be on the radio. Thank you. - Danked - 06-06-2003 I do believe I mentioned two mandolin players, not at all trendy, and said nothing about your particular choice of guitar. Thank you. :32: - Zootybang - 06-06-2003 On that matter, I whole-heartedly apologize, although, frankly I'm alittle worried that A. There are 2 great mandolin players In the world and B. You took the time to research It, because there's no way In Hell you pulled that from your head. - Weird NJ - 06-06-2003 Uhm.. actually he did know that. :10: - Danked - 06-06-2003 What's up your ass that you feel the need to challenge me on this issue? - Goatweed - 06-06-2003 Quote:What's up your ass that you feel the need to challenge me on this issue? a mandolin, perhaps? - Hey Ladi - 06-06-2003 his head - Mad - 06-06-2003 Quote:a mandolin Boy, thems some tasty oranges, for sure. - Danked - 06-06-2003 Maybe he was molested by an obscure mandolin player when he was a boy. - Arpikarhu - 06-06-2003 the ibanez is the guitar choice for poseurs around the world. - Zootybang - 06-07-2003 Thats your whole argument? The level of "Douchebag" that you are on Is mind-boggling. And Danked, I was fucking with you, not challenging your obviously superior mandolin expertise. - Arpikarhu - 06-07-2003 the ibanez is an inferior product designed with to attract ignorant teens. the wood they use is from inferior south american sources. the pick-ups have to be modified to be of any real use, and any body will tell you that due to the neck milling they wont hold a tune. thats my argument. - Zootybang - 06-07-2003 How would neck milling affect whether It holds a tune or not? The bridge might, or the locking mechanism at the string guide might, but the neck? I cant see how. - Arpikarhu - 06-07-2003 if you understood what neck milling was then you would understand how it can affect the ability to hold tuning. |
