Hey dumb dumb, of course we are basing them on last year's stats, we don't have next year's stats, and neither do you. This 4 man dream team could blow up just as easily as it could be unbeatable. The Lakers without Kobe last year would'nt have made the play-offs, much less made it as far as they did, Shaq can't win by himself, he needs Kobe, Gary Payton and Karl Malone are hardly replacements for one of the most explosive players in the game. They are up there in years, give them a grueling game or a grueling series and they will tire, take Kobe off their team and they will MAYBE make the play-offs.

As great as Jordan was he wasn't winning shit till Pippen got there. No one man will ever carry a team. Shaq and Payton may carry them but the same could be said for kobe and payton, plus malone. The daddy is important but so is kobe.
